Kalady Grama Panchayat is an active local government institution based on public participation and transparent governance. The activities of the panchayat are carried out with the focus on social justice, infrastructure development, women and child welfare, protection of the differently abled and the elderly, and the upliftment of farmers. The aim is to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development of the village through effective implementation of development projects.
We have started dreaming of a new step like New Kerala. We must reach a state of efficient use of available resources. We have reached the goal of increasing public participation in project activities through the empowerment of Gram Sabhas.
