Chamravattom Regulator cum Bridge is one of the major irrigation and transportation projects built across the Bharathapuzha River in Malappuram district of Kerala. The project was designed to regulate the water level of the Bharathapuzha River, prevent the ingress of seawater, and ensure water storage during droughts. It also serves as a major road connecting the Ponnani region and Tirur parts of Malappuram district.

This construction of the bridge and regulator was a great help to the agricultural development of the area. It was especially beneficial for rice cultivation and the availability of drinking water. Water conservation improved in areas where agriculture was previously difficult due to salt water intrusion in the summer. Along with this, transportation facilities also improved greatly.

Famous for its sunset views and wide river views, this place has now become a local tourist destination. The Bharathapuzha river in full flow during the monsoon and the water flowing through the regulator are a beautiful sight. The Chamravattom Regulator cum Bridge is considered a project that has played a crucial role in the economic and social development of the local people.
